As the General Manager of The Cove, and a self-proclaimed aficionado (maybe more like addict) of all things sweet, I’m thrilled to share my top five favorite dessert spots in Downtown Wilmington.

I particularly love Boombalatti's because not only are they local and family owned (and awesome partners and friends of ours!) but they also have a hilarious social media presence. Plus, they cater to everyone with options for vegan and gluten-free ice cream lovers, offering an impressive variety of flavors. My personal favorites? Fluffer Nutter Butter, Double Cookies & Cream, and Cinnamon Caramel Oatmeal Cookie, but my gluten-free husband says their salted caramel ice cream is the best he's ever had! (And he's tried a LOT of them!)
